The Good Shepherd Keeps His Sheep Forever

Your Eternal Security

John  10:11  I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

12  He who is a hired hand and not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them.

13  He flees because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.

14  I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me,

15  just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.

16  And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.

17  For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it up again.

18  No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father."

19  There was again a division among the Jews because of these words.

20  Many of them said, "He has a demon, and is insane; why listen to him?"

21  Others said, "These are not the words of one who is oppressed by a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?"

22  At that time the Feast of Dedication took place at Jerusalem. It was winter,

23  and Jesus was walking in the temple, in the colonnade of Solomon.

24  So the Jews gathered around him and said to him, "How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly."

25  Jesus answered them, "I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father's name bear witness about me,

26  but you do not believe because you are not part of my flock.

27  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

28  I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.

29  My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.

30  I and the Father are one."

Or was it the Second Coming?  .. waiting for the shout of the arch angel..Lorelle still there.. and me too

Or was it Indonesia invading and bombing Richmond AFB.

Are you ready for death?

Do you have a full assurance of faith? What do you bade it on?

Louise K and her phone call at 10pm -11pm.

Sheep are Dense

Sheep are Directionless… isa 53:6

Sheep are Defenceless.. caste sheep in the Drift Way.

Sheep are Despairing

Are you despairing?

BUT the God Shepherd is Caring

14  I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me,

15  just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.

BUT the God Shepherd is Concerned about his Sheep

BUT the God Shepherd is Courageous

and I lay down my life for the sheep.

17  For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it up again.

18  No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father."

My dad viewed the passion of the Christ on tv.

He read these words on the screen:

Isaiah 53:4-6 (KJV)
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace wasupon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

And his heart was opened. He understood. He said " I knew Christ died for the sins of the whole world. But these words say he died for me! Is this true?" Then this is the greatest truth of the whole universe!!"

He realised for the first time in his life, that Christ has died for his sins, and he was forgiven, pardoned by what the Good Shepherd had done in laying down His life as a sin offering for him, and for you and I.

Do you have a full assurance and upon what do you base it? Are  you going to heaven and do you know it? Why are you going to heaven?

You can have a full Assurance because of

God's Great Gift to you

John  10:11  I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

14  I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me,

15  just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.

Eternal life

27  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

28  I give them eternal life, and they will never perish,

God's Great Grace

27  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

28  I give them eternal life, and they will never perish,

Have you heard his voice?

Have you followed Him?

God's Great Grip

and no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29  My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.

No Foe can defeat You… Satan can't take you out of his hands

No Failure can destroy you

Romans 8:31-39 (CSBBible)  31  What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
32  He did not even spare his own Son but offered him up for us all. How will he not also with him grant us everything?
33  Who can bring an accusation against God's elect? God is the one who justifies.
34  Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is the one who died, but even more, has been raised; he also is at the right hand of God and intercedes for us.
35  Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
36  As it is written:  Because of you we are being put to death all day long; we are counted as sheep to be slaughtered. 37  No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

No fear can deflate you

38  For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,  39  nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God's Great Glory

Who would be the biggest loser if you lost your salvation?

You? No God would be the biggest loser. You would lose your soul for eternity. He would lose His glory.

God's Purpose is to save you.  Satan could say, "there you go, even though you chose them before the foundation of the world, I beat  you God!"

God's power is to save you.

If you could be lost then the blood of Christ was not sufficient to cover your sins, and god would lose the glory.

My Name from the palms of His hands,

Eternity will not erase

Impressed on his heart it remains

In marks of indelible grace

And I to the end shall endure,

As sure as the earnest is given

More happy but not more secure

When glorified with Him in heaven.

Philippians 1:6 (CSBBible)
I am sure of this, that he who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
